The countryside of Mallorca is as beautiful as it is dramatic, with wonderful beaches where the Mediterranean sea rolls in, twisting roads that lead you past small fruit farms, and mighty grottos where you can experience complete silence – or underground concerts.
What is more, there are loads of golf courses! Mallorca actually has more than 20 courses, so you can live on the island for years and never tire of the variation.
Many of the courses are located on the eastern part of the island, in the region around Palma, the capital of Mallorca. However, if you take your car and travel around the coast or head inland, you are no more than a couple of hours from a host of other courses in delightful settings. And if you would like to give your golfing muscles a rest, you can switch to mountain hiking, sailing, water-skiing, diving or surfing instead. Who wouldn't want a life like that?
