I actually started as a client of Fastighetsbyrån 7 years ago with a purchase of an apartment in Alicante, what was crucial for our family to feel the security in a foreign country throughout the process, that’s why we choosed Fastighetsbyrån. I also knew that they were owned by Swedbank, Swedens largest bank. The whole setup was good from start to finish and without any surprises.

A couple of years later, we have taken the step to realize our dream, to live and enjoy Costa Blanca. The weather with approx. 300 days of sunshine and temperatures rarely lower than a Swedish summer day in winter played an important role. The passion for salty sea baths from April to November was another. The range of restaurants is fantastic, meat, tapas, pasta, fresh fish and seafood. The prices are also good.

North of Alicante from Vilajoyosa up to Denia there are many nice activities to do. Abundant selection of padel, tennis, golf and attractions such as Aqualand, Parks, architecture and culture. Several good shopping centers for those who want to shop. From Denia you can easily take the ferry to Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca. (A bit like going to Gotland actually)
